A soft cloth cot book to provide entertainment and visual stimulation for newborns and young babies; The book opens up, concertina-style, to form a double-sided frieze which can be fixed to the inside of a cot using the Velcro tabs attached; Research has shown that newborn babies prefer bold, contrasting images, so one side of the frieze has strong black and white images of familiar objects, such as a flower and a boat, with contrasting colour highlights; Within a few months babies can identify colour tones, and will enjoy the other side of the frieze which shows a bright pastel scene showing animals such as a lion, a snail and a sheep.
