Eric Twiname was an active dinghy sailor, a keen team racer and a LaserNational Champion. He wrote regular articles in yachting magazines, andthe famous Rules Book,written after serving for several years on the Royal YachtingAssociation's Racing Rules Committee, which is now in its ninth editionand still published by Adlard Coles Nautical.
