About the Author Karen Turner was born in Melbourne, Australia. After leaving school, she commenced a career spanning more than twenty years in the Financial Services Industry which presented the opportunity to work in Singapore, Hong Kong, New Zealand, and Australia. Throughout this time she also managed to indulge her first love a music a and over the years performed with innumerable bands and participated in many musical productions and functions. In recent years her vocation shifted to writing training and technical documentation and financial news articles. As an escape from the intensity of the corporate environment, she discovered a passion for fictional prose, which led to Karenas first book, a rather eclectic compilation of short stories a All That and Everything. Inviolate is Karenas second novel. It is the long-awaited sequel to Karenas first novel, Torn, and follows on from where Torn left you wanting more. Karen lives with her husband Stuart and her cats Panda and Katie in Mornington, Victoria. When sheas not hammering away at her computer, she likes keeping fit and catching up with friends.
