Baby's World of Colors (Cloth Book)
Author(s): Catherine Hellier
Barron's "Baby's Books" are extra-special cloth books packed with many different movable features that toddlers can manipulate. In this book, a bright green frog smiles on the front cover, a yellow duck squeaks, and can be moved across the water on an attached cloth strap. An orange tiger has a tail that wags, a blue butterfly has wings that wiggle, a bright red ladybug hides behind a flap of green leaves, and other friendly animals display their bright colors on the pages that follow. The front cover has a hidden rattle that makes pleasant, jingling sounds when Baby lifts or shakes the book. The brightly hued animal illustrations have attractive sewn-on features, colored ribbons that attach cloth animals to their pages, flaps for Baby to lift, and safe, non-breakable mirrors to reflect Baby's smile. A Velcro-tipped cover tab holds the book shut when it's time to put it away.
