David Mitchell has been fascinated with origami since he was eleven and is a prolific inventor of original paperfolds, action novelties, magical tricks and manipulative puzzles, many of which reflect his somewhat off-beat sense of humour. He is the author of many books on specialist aspects of origami, such as Origami, Origami Animals, Sticky Note Origami, Office Origami and Origami Alfresco. He lives in Kendal, Cumbria.
