One Hour Craft

Author(s): Maria Binns

Handcrafts

This book is all about quick, quirky, fun crafts for craftsters who are imagination-rich but time-poor. Most importantly One Hour Craft will appeal to a group of people who are looking for something more vibrant, funky and edgy than the sickly, humourless types of craft projects that tend to proliferate in this area. The book is based on the successful website (onehourcraft.com) developed and run by the author. This website contains step-by-step photo tutorials for quick crafts, and the book includes new projects but also tie into the site for updates and new projects. Chapters and projects include: * Sewing: Applique Name Cushion; Fabric Button Hair Ties; The Most Useful Tote Bag.* Felt: Felted Cushion; Felted Lavender Sleep Bear * Paper: Tulip Doily Lights; Humbug Party Bags; Christmas Ribbon Card.* Clay: Paper Clay Ornaments and Mobile; Polka Dot Drawer Handles; Polymer Clay Bottle Top.* Painting, Printing and Etching: Abstract Miniature Paintings; Etched Bird Mirror; Stencilled Bird Tee.* Jewellery: Chunky Bead Necklace; Crystal Earrings; Japanese Paper Bangle* Plastic: CD and Spoon Clock; Plastic Keyring; Button Magnets.
