Norio Torimoto is one of the nine origami masters in the world, as appointed by the Nippon Origami Association. Torimoto's work has been represented in museums, exhibitions, and Japanese cultural events all over the world. In 1987, Torimoto was commissioned to create an origami panda for the World Wildlife Foundation. He had the honor of presenting the panda to Sweden's King, Carl XVI Gustaf. Torimoto now uses origami to teach mathematics to children and adults. He's lectured at The Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm, and Universities around the world, exploring such subjects as "Origami-Geometric solution as visual tactile perception." Torimoto now lives in Sweden. Yukiko Duke is a journalist, broadcaster, translator, and expert on Japanese history and culture. Duke resides in Sweden.
