Isabel Thomas is the author of more than 80 books for children and teenagers. She studied Human Sciences at Oxford University, and specialises in science and technology for young readers. Her books include What You Need To Know Now, shortlisted for the Blue Peter Book Awards 2011. She is also zookeeper for three sons. Nikalas Catlow gained an MA in illustration at the Cambridge School of Art. He has lectured and taught workshops in art, design and illustration, and now works as a writer, illustrator and TV development producer.
