PENNY JUNOR is a journalist and has written for the Evening Standard and Private Eye. She's been writing bestselling royal biographies for over thirty years, and as a result has a very close relationship with the palace. She also recently co-authored the memoirs of Pattie Boyd and Cliff Richard. PRINCE WILLIAM was born on Monday, June 21, 1982 in London and is the elder son of Charles, Prince of Wales and the late Diana, Princess of Wales. He is second in line to the British throne. After studying at the University of St. Andrews he joined the Royal Air Force and is now a full-time pilot. He has followed his mother's famous example and become involved in many humanitarian and environmental causes since her death, becoming a patron for numerous charities. He married Kate Middleton in April 2011.
